BisNet, the Business International Studies Network, is an esteemed consortium of prominent business schools throughout the United States. These institutions are recognized for their robust study abroad and international exchange programs, predominantly geared towards undergraduate education. BisNet brings together these reputable organizations, aiming to promote excellence in business education by encouraging collaboration and fostering the exchange of knowledge within the field of international business studies.

Bisnet 2025 Timeline

Professor Ariel Casarín is an Associate Professor at the business school at Universidad Adolfo Ibañez in Santiago, Chile, where he teaches managerial economics, strategy, and nonmarket strategy at the MBA and Executive MBA levels. He has also previously taught at IAE Business School in Buenos Aires for 11 years. María Eugenia Delfino is an accomplished Associate Professor of Strategy and Decision-Making at ESE Business School, Universidad de los Andes, Chile, where she also leads as the Academic Director of the MBA program. Holding a PhD in Economics and an MSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick, UK, she brings a wealth of expertise to her research on firms' strategic interactions.
Her focus spans industry concentration, entry dynamics, and the performance of firms in regulated sectors, with an emphasis on the unique contrasts between advanced and emerging economies.
Nick Walker founded The Southbridge Group in Santiago, Chile in 1995, which today consists of eight operating companies with over 1,000 employees focused on a range of outsourced back-office management, tax advisory, asset management, competitive intelligence, retail operations management, and destination management services.
Nick is either the statutory representative or on the Board of over 30 companies in Chile, serves on the Board for the British Chilean Chamber of Commerce, is an Executive Committee member and former chairman of The Chile Club, an organization that promotes business and cultural ties between Chileans and foreigners, and is a founding member of the G100, an organization that supports entrepreneurship in Chile.
